Service Project or Community Service - April 22, 2017
Location: City Hall Park - 402 Morton Street, Richmond
They would like to start checking in volunteers at 8:15
* If you are under age 18, there is a waiver form that must be signed by a parent
They will have breakfast foods available
They plan to break volunteers into groups ;
1) Assist in unloading shred documents from vehicles
2) Gardening, weeding, planting, mulching
We plan to do the gardening at City Hall Park-4th & Morton St., City Hall Annex-5th & Morton St. , Downtown Morton Street and Wessendorff Park on Preston by Jail
PLEASE WEAR NHS or SCHOOL SHIRTS
THEY WILL BE GIVING EACH VOLUNTEER A PAIR OF GARDENING GLOVES AND WILL PROVIDE GARDEN TOOLS

We will be assisting with the receiving room and sales floor. Major tasks include greeting and assisting donors, unloading donations, organizing, hanging/sorting clothes, moving furniture, and store recovery.

We are looking for students to volunteer at the MS Walk Sugar Land. The first group will assist with set-up and the event, while the second group will continue with the event and help with dismantling things and cleaning up.
We also want to make a donation to the MS society so everyone is encourage to bring a donation of $5-$10 to give.

-here are two time slots 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. to noon.
-You will need to find transportation to Memorial Park Sugar Land on University Blvd (Behind U of H campus)..
-If you are 17 and under you need a parent consent form. You can pick one up from Mrs. Kroeker. Please get it signed and returned to her prior to the event.
Restrictions: Only NHS members.
If you want to just walk, you need to register on the MS Walk Sugar Land and raise a minium of $200
